  1. Same here what size hook. I would like to try it but the instructions aren’t complete. Does this tree just stand by itself or do you have to put it on something

    1. You can use the size of crochet hook you are used to. As long as the crochet can be completed successfully. It needs something to secure it to a base.

    2. It looks like a small piece of a wooden log that it sits on. I would use either a white or black bottle cap & glue it on to that.

  2. Hi, gorgeous pattern but I just can’t work out how the instructions just say x 6 on the end of each row when I end up with more than that count. Also 2dc in 1 stitch is that together or separate in that stitch. I really would love to make this could you explain more please. Many thanks

    1. Rnd 1: 6 fM in MR 6 feste Maschen in einen magischen ring häkeln

Rnd 2: (2 fM in eine Masche) x 6 danach 2 fM(feste Maschen) in jede Masche das 6 mal

      3. R.: {1 fM, (2 fM, 2 Lm, 2 fM) in eine Masche} x 6 danach 1fm, (2fm, 2Luftmaschen, 2fm in eine Masche) das Ganze 6mal.

  3. I have the same problem with the last round making it curl out. Making it look really flat and not at all like on the photo. Have tried some things to see what would help. Thought I post my change here for people who want to try this.

The pattern says: {1 sc, (2 dc, 2 ch, 2 dc) in one stitch} then repeat X times. Instead of doing this I did {1 sl.st., (1 dc, 1 ch, 1 dc) in one stitch} repeat the number of times the pattern asks for. So for the first layer of leaves that would be 6 times.
This change makes it look more like it is on the photo. I hope this helps.

  4. I’m doing the star and the instruction says to start crocheting from the penultimate stitch, what stitch is that?
