Okay so when it says 5 Inc, that’s means to do 2 single crochet in each of the next 5 stitches so how would rounds 1 & 2 of the body have the same amount of stitches? Also, after the skip 2 does that mean to single crochet in the next stitch after skipping and does that count for the previous row or the next row? Sorry for all the questions, this is so cute but I keep having to frog it back

I am guessing that it is 5 different increases because at a different part at the end, it says 5 dc in one stitch instead of 5 inc.
What yarn size and hook size are used for the doll? thank you:)
This pattern is relatively easy and quick to make. I use normal 4 ply yarn and split it apart to make 2 ply and use a 2.75 mm crochet hook. I used inset eyes (8mm) and it worked perfectly, I put them between rows 19-20 of the head. Hope this kind of helps with yarn and hook problems and a way to use inset eyes. I made two of these guys and I’m working on another two, perfect gift for friends and family who love mushrooms.
